Welcome to the African Tech Hub

Welcome to the African Tech Hub, a site dedicated to technology as a platform for entrepreneurship. In addition to aggregating resources on the subject, this blog is used to share findings from a joint infoDev, UKAid and Hivos funded research study currently being executed by the Excelsior Firm. This research explores the potential for SME development in the East African ICT sector. Through robust fieldwork and analysis the project aims to identify specific strategies and actionable plans. At the same time we hope this blog and the associated research findings serve as a valuable information resource for the African IT sector at large.
